Finally, a few months after my training (2 weeks in xxxx), this HP inkjet copier (first in the world) have move to the market. All the while i just playing around with the demo unit in my office.

The installation take more than 4 hours (hardware side can be done less than 2 hours, but on printer components calibration/pen alignment/driver it take more than 2 hours)

Hopefully, i can speed up the duration for my next installation…..

Sometime we face this kind of problem for Designjet 500. Everything is working fine for the plotter. The PC might be old, maybe….All you need is to set disable on ‘enable bidirectional support’ option…hope this help!

Hi Guys,

Be careful with this error, its only show intermittent, right? It’s not a network or HP Jetdirect. So, guess what?

……it is cause by a corrupted file…kakaka

Roll sheet is working fine but cut sheet always promt out error….haha….just a setting issue.

System error 61:05 appears on the printer’s display after setting up the printer from a Macintosh or after sending a print job. Printer has cut-sheet media loaded.

Change the rotate setting in the Page Format menu of the printer to zero (0) by following these steps:

1.       Delete any print jobs from the Macintosh Print monitor or Desktop Print monitor.

2.       Turn the printer off, then on to clear the system error and reload the cut-sheet media, if necessary.

3.       Access the Paper menu on the printer by highlighting the icon that looks like a roll or sheet of paper, then press ENTER .

4.       Highlight Page Format , then press ENTER .

5.       Look for the Rotate setting in Page Format . If Rotate equals anything other than zero (0), highlight Rotate and press ENTER , then arrow up to zero (0) and press ENTER to save.

6.       Exit the printer’s menu by pressing the MENU button.

Printer should now function without the 61:05 error.

According to service manual, this error cause by defective APS or Ink Tube System.  Don’t waste time like i did, just change the expired @ ‘low’ level cartridges. This will resolve the issue.

BTW, don’t forget to upgrade firmware to the latest one.

Finally my dreams come true, i had a change to ‘play’ with HP Large Format Printer (My background was in HP Laserjet printer).

During my learning process i discover some problems or issues (…still learning till now). It was fun and enjoyable experiences (for technical person like me, i guest…)

I will share error codes, troubleshooting skill ie….

Please give me a comment on my poor English (I’m willing to improve)

Adios!
